Well, I'm certainly glad that Truman was the dumbbell that he was and foolishly chose to deliver an unambiguous and resounding defeat, which ended 300 years of Japanese terrorism and aggression and allowed Japan to focus on developing into a world economic power full of Democratic ideas...<g> and so are generations of Americans, thank God for little favors.....<g>

Ha! I am hardly a liberal simply because I disagree with many conservatives on a few issues. In fact, throughout my very long history of being on public bulletin boards, most liberals have labeled me a right winger. Some have even labeled me an extreme right wing fanatic, but in my opinion, a moderate conservative is the most accurate label for me for those who insist on pinning labels on people.....
