Tommaso, >>Sooner or later all this loose money has got to drive up the general price level on everything, and maybe it is beginning to show there.

I think there is more than loose money that will drive commodity prices higher. We have had a 20 year bear market in some of these commodities and the industries have not invested in their infrastructure. These companies will not produce these commodities at a loss for very long - there is no new era accounting here. <ggg> Some time ago Michael noted the farm sector should see some of these problems and we are starting to see this come to fruition. I do not think investors are going to get rich overnight investing in commodities, but over a period of time it could be a place for some capital.

I am not one to trade the futures, but when companies that are in the commodity business or support the folks that are in the commodity business start looking like values, one could buy them using MB's 1/3 rds strategy.
