Very true... I don't know where their heads are, as if they have any at all, to be opposed to violence during wartime... duh!!! War is war and violence is what it's all about... certainly, it would be preferable to avoid war, but once the dogs of war are let loose, our job is to end it as quickly as possible using any means necessary.....

And millions more Japanese would have been killed as well...

I do not wish to get into and extended discussion about this, but that is the standard party line, and no one can really know for sure exactly what would have happened without the war crimes that were committed at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. (yes, I consider incinerating civilians an extremely serious war crime)
