Long gone,
I am not sharp enough to really answer. But maybe expansion of money supply over the last 10-15 years. Also commodities go in cycles. Such as gold, (some say it's not a commodity)grains, base metals have been down (I think), stocks were up the last 20 years until recently, so maybe commodities go back up stocks go down. Better to go with a "Bob" explanation.
