I haven't looked at the 29-40 chart lately, but I seem to remember that people who bought before the final bottom did ok, if they held a bit. In contrast to the commonly bandied 'if you bought at the peak, it would take xx years to recover your initial investment', it seems there were some people who must have done quite well. Even if early.

This idea that buying at the wrong time can have huge opportunity costs, I agree with. But there is another side of the coin. <g>

Now that we have 27 months of down behind us, if the 29 analogy holds, I say look at what happened in 31 going forward. But I don't agree we have a repeat of 29... so your mileage will vary.

BWDIK?

BTW, I've been trying out a few sausage recipes, looking for something that will go well in a combo meat/cheese canneloni. The Canneloni is a mixture of two recipes, based on PorkLoin/Mozzeralla/Ricotta/Spinach and so forth. I've done it before with store bought, but I'm trying to make my own so as to control the quality of the meat used.

Any suggestions on the sausage/spices?

I may have to look into getting a book, as what I've come up with so far isn't as good as just plain old ground pork loin.
