regarding that link (cpa4stocks.com), here's what I liked:

A positive 3+ page article on TYC. (I could use a little reinforcement, since I'm underwater on the stock.)

Mention of ESREF as a buy. I rarely see that. Except here occasionally. I've got this one too. :>(

Lexent mentioned. Selling below cash value. d/e = .04. (per Yahoo) Looks like they are cutting back in money draining areas, and trying to become profitable. I hadn't seen this company before on any screens. Might be worth a closer look.

Fwiw:
biz.yahoo.com

Other points about the market letter: It looks like a disconnect to me between their stated goals (seeking profitable companies, companies with increasing revenue) and what they promulgate as buys (mostly (?) money losers: Lexent and Akami and ESG). They say they "see" a turnaround or better times coming for these stocks.
But why should their "sight" be any better than anybody else's? Stocks are being recommended, as they state, from a CPA perspective. That immediately reminds me of what Warren Buffett is alleged to have said about librarians: roughly, that if successful investing were just about information, all librarians would be rich. Well, if stock picking were just about financial statements and accounting, accountants would all be rich. Maybe they are, but not from their astuteness in the market -g-. I've never seen any information that shows this category of professional has any better success than the population in general.

just my opinions

Sr. K - figures you hate the site - then again - you're also saying that Tyco has accounting problems - & by the way - the site says that:

"Just as importantly, we avoided K-mart, Enron, Sun Microsystems (SUNW), and others that we correctly predicted were overpriced and/or headed for Chapter 11"

- so it says "overpriced" - & not what you said
