napolar, >>I just read that hard red winter wheat production in the US is projected to hit an all time recent low.

This is serious. The crops were seeded late because of the cold spring weather - snow does inhibit planting. <g> When the crop was seeded we had lots of rain and immediately had very hot weather that stressed the crop. IMO, the current crop can not recover from this environment. I did read that the Government sees less exports and I have no idea how much less. The small grain commodities have been on a run as if late. Corn and Soybeans have also been on a run, but I do not know what is the state of the crop in Iowa and Ill - where the majority of the crop comes from.

I also noticed Alberta wheat has been increasing in price.
