KR,

On the serious side of the future, I can not figure out if we are going to have inflation or deflation. I can see inflation in the future if the foreigners keep pulling their capital out of the country and certainly can not blame them. We are in one heck of a mess with corruption in Washington and our Corporations. The country is in debt up to its ears - public, corporations, citizens and the trade imbalance. On the other side of the spectrum we have seen the corporations pull in their horns and quit spending and if the citizens start saving big time, deflation could be the game going forward. I guess it just depends on which force is the largest. Maybe this is a simple physics problem. <g> Now don't tell we are going to experience stagflation ... as this bubble should push us to an extreme. Just to much miss allocation of capital.

Joan

KT,

Any time frames in mind? Otherwise, you know, you may claim the recession of 5077 (or whatever) as the one started by Alan Greenspan.
