Yes I did cut my oil use by over 10%. First, I now burn 10% alcohol. Second I cut out all trips I didn't need to take. I make lists of things I want from different areas of town. When a list gets long enough I go to that area. By doing that I've cut my driving from 14,000 miles per year to less than 6,000 miles per year. Not only saves gas but also tires and brakes. Plus I drive like there's ice on the road all year. No quick starts or stops. Another plus I wait for low traffic times to go.
