Apparently we don't have the advantage of being on mind-altering drugs. I thought Maureen Dowd's send-up of the "Stepford People" we're seeing here was instructive:

"Aloft on Bozoloft" seems to sum it up pretty succintly.

Orwell wrote about all the people who fit into the new world paradigm because of their addiction to a drug called 'soma'. Maybe some of these contributors who've lost their minds could tell us which pharmacologically active agent they're submitting themselves to?

I really think that Poet has her heart in just the right place...... I realize I've missed out on quite a bit of the nature of the disagreement, but I truly thought that when I looked in her Eyes that I Knew her.

Hey if the Capital Markets are having growing pains, I can well imagine that we all might be having them too.
