From the July 2002 issue of Red Herring magazine, page 27 Red-C Optical Networking (partially owned by MRVC) chosen (e.g., 1 of 4 companies chosen) "as most likely to succeed in the global market by a dignitary jury of CEOs and CTOs from leading international hi-tech companies and VC funds". Selection made at the Israel Venture Association Annual 2002 Annual Conference. Per RH, "50 of Israel's most promising and exciting start-up companies, carefully chosen out of 400 candidates by a screening committee, presented their technologies at the conference. 4 of them were (see above quote).
