That's why Mr Bush's decision to delegitimise him is so important.

And, second, he's older and frailer than he was. He will be 73 next month. To believe he can go on defying the odds, escaping from every tight corner, until the bitter end may prove his ultimate undoing.

I read a blurb that the US military is revamping airfields in Kurdish North Iraq, and that 7000 US troops are already in Turkey.
