Thanks for the detailed response on the Rydex fund. My thoughts were to use them for swing trades not day trades. At least these funds are traded twice a day. My wife and my 401k's are end of day only so this is much less flexibility than I am used to.

I am pleased with my entry though. Put both 401k's into market at close on 7-2-02. Will let run till end of this run in the 1550-1600 range and then back to cash/money market where they have been since March of 2001.

Actually I got the profunds UOPIX tuesday also - but I had to enter order by 1:30 Monday PM -
As of EOD fri - my $$$$ are up 20%... So the different funds must get their 2:1 in different ways..
I would suspect that they'd average out t he same over teh long haul. Makes me curious tho..
