Remember the '50s and '60s? There was a pretty well observed rule that religious issues would be kept out of politics. Even the nomination of a Catholic didn't destroy. Then came the '70s. Roe v. Wade. It took a while, but over the next several years religious leaders got increasingly agitated. And then entered into the political arena. The Religious Right was born. And nothing has been the same since. And now they've just been handed another weapon. You REALLY want to find out what they can do with it? Really?
