Thanks for that Jim, and I agree with most of it, especially this part: This idea of America being a multi- cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. I have been complaining about this from the rooftops since the 1980s, but many Americans have not been listening, and now here in New Jersey, we have increasing Balkanization taking place among the various groups, which I predicted would take place way back in 1990 on the old boards if the immigration liberals continued to have their way.... It's a damn shame to see it actually happening, and still the politically correct crowd does not get it and continue to lead us down their merry path of degradation and destruction....

Multiculturalism is a modern concept wherein human identifications and loyalties transcend the boundaries of individual cultures into a larger vision of global citizenship. While diversity encourages cross-cultural understanding, multiculturalism extends that concept to produce a global nation consisting of citizens who are socially and psychologically, a product of the interweaving of global cultures of which US culture is on of many. This nation consists of a new consensual culture in which they recognize reflections of their own culture.
