<< I take it you are high and dry and safe? I think you mentioned at some point during our conversations that you
were closer to Dallas... You certainly seem to be getting your share of extreme weather in Texas... If it's not 100 degrees for the entire summer, it's a biblical rain event.>>
All OK here. 250 miles N of Austin, 20 West of Ft Wuth. So we dont get much of the left-over hurricanes off the Gulf.
Maybe 5 inches in a storm, not 15 inches.
This place called Weatherford for a good reason, if you dont like the weather just wait a few hours and
it will change. Except when its hot, and it just gets hotter.
Need 3 inch hailstones in July when it 80 degrees ? - noooooooo problem. Happens about every 5 years.
Freeus is due for a great adventure building in Utah because of the unpredictables.
Biggest surprise for us was the persistent wind 20,30,40 mph from the South or west calling for porches or trees. Would not notice that much in a city home tho.
Several years back we had a draught- many trees turned brown but I found they weren't dead, just went into hibernation as they do in the fall anyway. Got hot, up to 111
This year lots of rain. not so hot and .cools off to 73 at night which New York would appreciate.
Am not totally discouraged over this market. There are always opportunities for those with exceptional courage. Wcom at 6 cents became 27 in two days for a 350% return.
Dell , a rather safe bet, nearly always moves up before the July meeting.

I nearly forgot, if you have a copy of Robert Ludlums 'Prometetheous Deception', take a look at Chapter 12, written in 2000, as it relates to 9-11 events. I would print it here except for the copyrights. But a couple of words
"We are not in war"
"Oh but we are , said the CIA director We're in the middle of a global war against terrorits..........."
His face went ashen He put the phone down..... "That was the situation room, .... An American jetliner just went down three miles from Kennedy........"
Thats scary
