Not in all cases. The strip mines in West-central Illinois that have been reclaimed have changed the poor producing mono culture grain fields into some of the best habitat for wildlife in the US.

Nothing againt that at all. I really hoped nuclear would have worked out better like it has in France. BTW, I use ethanol in my Jeep, burns cleaner, renewable from corn and replaces 10% of the oil in a gallon of gas.
