The author of Vector Vest presented the program to our annual CANSLIM meeting in Las Vegas about 3 years ago and perhaps a second time as well, but I would have to say it is a pretty decent program. I haven't experimented with it but it has some very attractive features.

and you present your reasoning so well, whereas vectorvest only mentions such trivial matters as earnings, earnings growth, safety, dividends, etc., you present the lucid retort that it is "written by a dope"

how dare anyone controvert such a logical argument?

as with bruce, i listened to a presentation by the gentleman who developed vectorvest when we were in las vegas a couple of years ago....while i found that it often ranked stocks the highest after they had already made significant moves and were thus close to fully valued at least in the short term, it looked to be an excellent tool for comparing stocks and for finding the strongest industry groups and the strongest stocks in those groups
