No, I didn't see the President-to-be fishing, but the elder Bush fished for Steelhead in my neighborhood while he was President. Good for the soul. I've always been impressed with Bush, both of them. I favored Bush when he ran against Reagan in the primaries. One of my favorite qualities is how they both handle impertinent questioning. Sam Donaldson once almost got decked in the White House. GWB called the hand of a stupid interviewer who asked him who the President of some obscure nation was. Bush says "I don't know. Do you?" When the creep persisted he says "What is this? Twenty Questions?" He didn't fall in the jerk's trap.
