Brumar, George Washington was worse than a terrorist. He was a traitor. According to King George III. (No relation to the present King George, AFAIK) Washington certainly couldn't be claimed to have run the kind of terrorist organization that drops bombs on wedding parties, for example. -Ray

The British said as much. An ungrateful lout as I remember it. A bunch of rabble who do not appreciate what the British do for the colonists. But colonists seem to feel that way no matter who or where they are.

A person who is opposed to someone else's rule and wishes to overthrow the existing order by force. Washington was a terrorist, but he was our terrorist and fighting a war for the landed gentry in the "colonies". The situation in the American colonies was not the same as the situation in Palestine. If the British were so powerful that the only targets the colonists could hit were civilian British targets or export their struggle to Britian, they would have. You could say that the Isra-El government uses it's citizens as human shields by having a military shield that can not be easily penetrated or defended against. Remember, it was the Zionists who drew first blood.
