Jim, let's fix the problem. Reform the INS so that they can actually do their jobs. Let's not add more bureaucracy to the mess.

By the way, you should hear what Portland INS does to Asians legitimately visiting America. This city isn't known as "Deportland" for nothing:

Maybe Portland INS should relocate to Florida. THAT'S where the real gaping hole is. Chinese businesswomen get strip-searched, while Arab madmen get student visas six months after ramming skyscrapers.

I state the obvious: The INS needs reform.

Would you be kind of shocked to hear that the Justice Department approved Saffi's attendance at a fight school for a 4 day course to renew his 727 flight engineer rating?

It seems that either the gov was intentionally setting Saffi up for some perp walk pictures or someone decided after the fact to change the rules and get a little media time with a Muslim in handcuffs.
