If someone told me he had been a student for many years, had been a parent of students for many years and had closely associated with teachers and school administrators for many years, it would suggest to me that the person "knew something" about education issues. But, you, as a card carrying member of the California Public Education establishment, of course, would differ. You know it all. Re your intellectual preening, I don't believe there were quotation marks around any reference I made. Did you see some? Do you deny ever making reference to your high ranking in courses or tests you took? Do you deny citing very high achievement in math, sciences and the law? Perhaps I am the only one on SI that recalls these things. Frankly, I have no idea how I might review remarks you made on SI a year ago. If I did, mowing the lawn would seem like a better use of time.
