Competition hits the brokerage house. T D Waterhouse will lower their options commissions to undersell ETrade, Ameritrade and Schwab on Aug 12 and lower the Premier Service asset requirement from 500k to 250k.

amcc is one of the ones with large insider buying, along with opwv, jnpr and some others. I know some insiders and people are just afraid to put money in the mkt right now, having nothing to do with fundamentals of their companies. So insider buying is more significant than it was in the bull mkt, imo.

Having said that, I don't know what amcc does. And some companies like jdsu still have insider selling up the wazoo even though the stock is 2$.
