Thanks for pointing out the Wicker article. Here's one from today's Guardian which is more realistic and less measured than Wicker's apoplogy for the atrocious, dangerous and delusional thinking of the President:

This is a planet that is in trouble. We humans are the cause, and the U.S. in particular. And we have a Nero in the White House who fully intends to thumb his nose at the Johannesburg procedings next month, in spite of all best efforts by his own EPA to tell him to quit being such a horse's backside.
