only in referring to the year which is of course historic, and not an ongoing thing some people also use the terms BC and AD as conventions, but I'm not sure those are the same things as a pledge, said in a prayerful way, where the words are given full meaning. And we know from the ruckus that they are indeed given full meaning. I think it was major divisive silliness to put them in. Now you say it is that to take them out. Ah well. It all depends on what one wants to see, doesn't it?
