I think the principles are that the pledge is led like a prayer, or a solemn oath, it is led by an agent of government, children are the people led to do it, and the words are actually recited. I think I could easily distinguish that from the year thing, which no one looks at, on the constitution (heck most people have never even read it once, let alone in daily affirmation). The money has different problematic aspects to it. I'm all for changing it, but I wouldn't bring the suit because I have other things to do.
