Ze'ev... a question (or two) about the Hub?

I read back, but could not find the reason for moving. Does the 10-post limit have anything to do with it? Also, you mentioned "refugees" from this thread. I was not aware there was anything wrong with it (although I pretty much ignore 90% of the posts other than yours). Is there some other advantage to the Hub? TIA
