There has got to be some other nation besides the US that Israel should consider as someone who is not against them

Right now, I think the list is Turkey, India and Jordan (though Jordan will deny in a pinch). Europe has sided with the Arabs, though I think relations with Germany and Britain are not too bad.

The peace with Egypt is very cold and heavily armed, but it is secured by $2 Billion of American aid. The Egyptians won't hazard that lightly.
