The question it not its onerousness to me, the question is its onerousness to the Establishment Clause.

Hentoff's examples threw some light on that question, where those schools were concerned, imo.

why not turn your dismay against the public school establishment that brought us to this point?

I noticed that just a few posts back you were pointing out that responsibility for the deficiencies of our educational system lies primarily with parents. I was impressed; that meant we finally agreed on something.

What was it, then, that brought us to this point? Bad parenting, or the public school establishment?
