I don't see Ray as anti-American or a retard. I do think he has demonstrated that he permits his political leanings to color his positions to the degree that he makes assumptions that he can in no way support with facts. Something common to both political extremes. Belief in a political viewpoint so intense that it becomes a religion doesn't need factual support as it "is obvious to all that have a clue" or "those without their head up..." With regards to DH and the leftys on campus..There is much truth to what he says but I think that the religious right's influence in government to be an even more insidious danger to our freedoms. The power of our new Attorney General to jam the RR beliefs down all our throats scares me more that what can be accomplished by some pointy headed intellectuals...
