No, I read it in the paper Saturday, the one I walk to the box to get. He was a Marine fighter pilot in both WWII and Korea. And yes, I recycle the papers plus glass and aluminum.

I'm only recalling from memory that he at least part of his time in WWII was teaching flying. I've seen no reference to combat or a combat unit or theater of war.
