I enjoy the old detective stories like Cannon and Mannix and Banacek. I have been surprised that I can't watch reruns of some of the shows that I found really special and cutting edge when they first showed. I adored Hill Street Blues and LA Law at the time but the reruns seem so hokey to me. It's like I can go to the theatre to see Oklahoma but not Hair. I don't know if that's a common reaction or not.
