I think that anyone would have a hard time showing that kind of activity is a normal part of their religion.

The point that you raise is good .. and that kind of discussion is needed in public, as a part of the amendment process.

Another draft, as you state, seems to be exactly what is needed. It seems clear to you that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" says the same thing that I wrote. Yet the courts make laws, by way of case law, that violate the restriction.

Please note .. my form puts restraints on all branches of government not just Congress.
