Freedom of the press has nothing to do with editing, dumbing down, revising or neutering history.
Doing that is an expression of freedom of the press. So is counteracting that.

History always has been edited. Remember "The victor gets to write the history"?
Millions and millions and millions of events happen every year in history. The historian have to decide which make the history books. The histories of entire peoples get left out. There is only so much room. Viewpoints have to be adopted top make sense of it all.

Legislating from the bench IS trashing the constitution.
Legislating from the bench has been going on since the early days of the Republic, too, Michael. Courts` and judges have points of view too.

I haven't seen a corresponding personal denigration of atheist views in these discussions.
When have we done it? A quote from Paine? I believe you dragged Paine in- -supposedly on your side.
BAD choice.
