Bush has rallied an attacked nation and brought most Americans (at least those not viscerally full of hate for a Republicans like yourself) together. He's taken on the enemy and strategically accomplished what the next door Soviet army couldn't do in ten years in Afghanistan, freed millions of women and children from bondage, helped feed millions on the verge of starvation, begun the process of democratic reform in that war-torn nation. All with minimum loss to American lives. He's created an urgency to change in the Muslim world by setting clear standards of right and wrong. "You're either with us or you're with the terrorists". This clear foreign policy position is giving nations, such as Pakistan, the backbone to do what they should have done years ago. Namely, root out fanatism and change the environment around which it's given water to thrive. He's passed a large tax break which stimulated the economy and prevented a recession. The business downturn which began under the Clinton administration now looks to be ending. He's worked with both sides of the political aisle and passed education reform. It remains to be seen whether this reform will help us improve our failing government schools. But it looks like a first step in the right direction. He's demonstrated real leadership during times of crisis, (both China and the terrorist attack), brought dignity and trust back to the Presidency and helped us heal the wounds of war. He's negotiated an historic nuclear disarmament agreement with Russia. The world will be a lot safer and saner due to his relationship building skills. Russia and the United States now look poised for a long lasting time of peace. It's a good first start. The economy will turn around. It's only a matter of time. The rest of the hate expressed here is shared by very few Americans and only goes to demonstrated how radically far left wing the Democrats on this thread truly are...
