RE:"Religion has no place in schools paid for with taxpayer money and when attendance is required (truancy laws). If a school can have kids say the Pledge with references to a God, why not to Baal, Beelzebub, some Jew god, Allah, a Horned Goat, or the Goddess.
The Ninth Court will of course be overruled, because America is an adhocracy and the will of the herd is what the courts listen to.
Think about this when you hear about a school district somewhere in California requiring a pledge to "the Goddess."

There is a lot hidden information in your reply.

I make no judgement on the pledge only the observation that the USA was founded on a set of principles which have slowly but surely been picked to pieces. Some say this is a good thing. Others see right through it.

Tim, <If a school can have kids say the Pledge with references to a God, why not to Baal, Beelzebub, some Jew god, Allah, a Horned Goat, or the Goddess.>

Read the Declaration of Independence. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness didn't just evolve. They came from a Creator.

If you disagree, fine. No one is forcing you to believe otherwise, not even with the two words "under God" in a totally voluntary pledge.

Or do you side with the very politically correct morons you so love to ridicule?

this is one thing we can agree on.
