Doug, the fact is we had two choices in the last election for President. You may not like it, and I may not like it. But the choice was between Al Gore and George Bush. So, comparing and contrasting what are choices were is a smart thing to do. One is now President, and I am certainly glad it's not Al Gore. Aren't you?

The freedom of speech claim you make is hogwash. Unless you're talking about campaign finance reform legislation. That to me was unconstitutional. Bush should have vetoed it and taken the political hit. But Demolibs were looking for blood behind McCain and Bush needs to win a few seats in the Senate.

He is better than Al Capone, Bush has rackets running on several continents. All Capone could control were a few neighborhoods.
