That is an angst filled post, and unworthy of you, and you know it. Drive around in any major tech center of the country, and you will see BIG buildings as well as small ones, with HUGE vacancy problems. If the companies can't make a profit, they go out of business, and their employees and vendors do as well. And of course, the people who used to work for these companies, and who have seen their retirement incomes that they worked hard for dwindle...now have a much reduced cash flow.... And on and on it goes.... I certainly agree that whatever the accounting practices that have been prevalent since 1995 need to have serious review, and that the Officers and Boards of Companies who have fraudulently misdirected and misled the stockholders and employees, should visit jail for a LONG period of time. Period.
