Well, you know there's been some inflation lately. In 1970, CEOs made about 40 times what their average worker got paid. By 2001, this had escalated to about 570 times.

In 1970, a good bribe would pay off about 10:1. Today, by my calculation, the going rate is 100:1.

And they say inflation is under control.

Hard to believe what you read, sometimes.
