Of course the great tragicomedy of the pharma-biotech connection was the Waksal job on BMY. What rotten luck that when a pharma is finally ready to make a great deal it was that one.

Though it's not all luck. Who is a pharma likely to make the deal with? - the best biotech salesman-promoter, and that may have been Sam Waksal: a con-artist so good he's almost real. Arggh.
