That's fine but you have been enjoying the fruits of this country which was established by a bunch of religious people. So when all the "special interests" tear it down to where it stands for NOTHING I'm sure you will not complain...right? That's where it's heading.

Sure I have. I'll bet EVEN YOU have taken advantage of many things from this country in your lifetime, which you have personally contributed nothing, or maybe even disagreed with. Probably didn't stop you from taking advantage of it, right? You seem to be saying "Fall In Line, and Agree With Us, Or You Can't Have Any". Not a very good "Christian Attitude" if you ask me.

You've been real negative about almost everything lately, so I'm not surprised at your statement. I guess I just have have a little more "Faith" in the resiliancy of the United States of America without Religion, than you do, and I don't look on "Lack Of Religion", as a scapegoat for this country's problems, nor try to simplistically blame Non-Religion, for "Tearing It Down".

As far as I can tell, Historically, Organized Religion is responsible for more Pain, Suffering, Death, and Destruction, than Any Other Reason in History. If you want to know the "Message" that I get from "Organized Religion" today is "Believe As I Do..... Or I'll Kill You". Not something I'd be proud of.

Jim, maybe we ought to change the last line of the Pledge to say, "One Federation, under Darwin, easily divisible, with liberty from offense for ME."
