How is it that adults can stand being "forced" into education at all. Is sitting in a two hour lecture listening to a monotone professor so that you can get your degree and be a part of "normal life" better than reciting a Pledge of Allegiance?

Oh, I get it. We're not "forced" to have an education, either, but most people take it for granted that without it, you'd be lost in today's world, right? Kinda like National Unity.
