<<Call me a clown but NEM looks like a great short here. Broken H&S with test of neck about here on low volume. If I wasnt such a stupid Gold bull id short that pup>>

Agree on the chart. I sold the rest of my NEM today, there are better stocks in the sector, their hedge book will take way too long to unwind for my tastes....sentimentally, I didn't wanna do it since they fought so hard to keep NDY away from Anglo, but bidness is bidness.<NG>

Disclosure: No position in NEM (wife has a little left)
LONG BGO, DROOY, GG, GFI, KGC, and HGMCY (all of which I consider better buys at present).

NEM looks like a real battle to me!.
It has strong upside resistance at 27.25 and seem to be creating a downward sloping channel at that same price. We'll see whether it punches through that. Otherwise, it has bounced off its 200 dMA and has retraced 50% of its gain from 18 and change to 32 and change. I would be agnostic but I own too much of it. I'm optimistically looking for it to expire at 27.5 on third Friday of June for totally selfish reasons. Max Pain is at 27.5 but I don't put much value on max pain calculations when daily trading is much greater than the open value of options.
