If shrub deems himself a RESPONSIBLE leader he would certainly step aside. There are a few problems with that scenario though. Shrub is not in charge and if he admitted his failings there would be no deterrance to the cabal surrounding his ill-achieved legitimacy. The position this country is in is alot like that of Iraq. Remove Saddam and risk even worse. Remove Bush and the real totalitarians get a leg up.
The situation will reach a point where the cabal will crumble under its own weight...regardless of what the RWEs spew on this thread. Positioning oneself for that eventuality should be the main focus of this thread.
Let the RWEs label everybody they can't agree with. It won't change anything.

Sorry LK, that premise is fatally flawed.
He quite obviously neither thinks, nor is in control of anything.

I can't imagine there's ever been a more purely titular President, animated by the ministers and "small constituencies" of wealthy energy and military barons in the back rooms.

BTW, watch for the 5pm press conference by the prez... on an "unannounced subject"
