Several of the smaller software companies should be good long-term plays if you have a multi-month horizon.

In the short term, these markets are as dreary, depressed and dispirited as I can remember over the last several years. The plus side is that the "experts" want exactly this situation - i.e. everyone throwing in the towel - to call a market bottom eventually and move on with a market that tracks the economy again.

We could certainly drift lower this month and next. I will be adjusting the portfolio very carefully, buying only when I see a good operation at bargain prices. I was glad to see my LVLT bonds now in good company (Buffet), LVLT may do better than all of us expected in the long run.

Yesterday I added CERG and shorted IAH again. Otherwise sitting tight.
