why include them at all, as part of revenues... why not seperate them out in a way that clearly makes the distinction in the first place.

that would be conservative.

then by your argument Express Scripts and AdvancedPCS are the ones doing the "aggressive" accounting by over-stating their margins. so they should be taking it on the chin, right?

it is not "conservative" by any definition to gross up your revenue.

plus, while the revenue puff-up is not in and of itself a "scandal" (as it has no real effect on cash generation), there is never just ONE cock-roach...

From a net profit point of view you are correct but still I do not get it why do it in first place ? I think after all it was done to inflate the stock price as many bought based on sales multiples and not PE's
