Oh, really? How many of those Great Civilizations are around today?
wbmw

Civilization Timelines are relative. I'm sure that I can just as easily find many many many many many many "Great Civilizations" based on Religion, that are ALSO not around today. So your statement proves nothing.

wbmw, Remember, only 5-6 % of Americans are religious. It varies with location, but church door counts on sundays reveal that less than 6% of people go to church.
Clinton was an athhiest or non religious person as a student, but for political reasons he went to church every sunday. Do you think he changed??

Same with the majority of people, if they are asked in public thay say they believe...political correctnes.
In private they vote with feet and fail to believe or attend....or do you feel that people who do not go to church, are nontheless staunch believers?
