Look at it from their point of view, if my presence there can bring with me a number of people it makes them money, and it is thus worth money to them. I have posted here on SI for seven years, and I think, most of the time, I was a contributor, not an ankle biter, and possibly (as indicated by the number of people bookmarking me) one with "draw". So what is all the whining about my allowing my efforts, for which I am not paid to provide for some support to a little school? I sure was not made such an offer by SI, long time ago, SI should have found a way to recognize its better contributors, by whatever measure they saw fit. Both SI and IHUB are providing a service and they have to find ways to make these services pay with a profit, whatever means they use to make their sites more viable, as long as they do not break the law, is fine. Increasing traffic and "eye balls" is one way they achieve that goal. The fact that tight people even bother to pose the question if I get or not compensated for my effort is not only childish, it is pure avarity. Whose business is it anyhow what deal was or was not struck? Why should it even be disclosed? It is in essence a personal "business arrangement" and nobody's else concern. Since I contribute much more to these thread than I am "getting from them", refuse to pay for the privilege of donating my time (I have a free membership on SI as well), and any additional deal I want to strike with anyone is my choice and mine only. I don't see criticism aimed at former SI posters that have then used the "following" to create "for pay" sites, why do I have to bother when I don't get even a single penny? Ah, not even worth arguing the point. Zeev
