One thing that my accountant did point out to me on one occasion was that while she was not obliged to report fraud, any conversation I had with her was not in any way privileged and if I did engage in any kind of fraud and tell her about it, she could testify in court against me, she would be compelled to if called.

I know you know this, others might not, there are three levels of accounting reports. Auditing is the highest level, the most thorough, but nothing guarantees against a deliberate and outright fraud. If the company has been very good at concealing the fraud as WCOM apparently has been, only a forensic accountant who was actively looking for fraud would catch it.

Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars.
I would like to see how Spring's like on Jupiter and Mars.
