Sure, in fact, various sites on the internet offer the most amazing explanations usually involving physical principles which I haven't heard about before.

On the assumption that they are made by people using understandable technology there has to be a computerized mechanism which drives a blade or a roller of some sort. The cutting or rolling device would have to be positioned by means of strings or cables set out in a web over the field to be cut.

I think quite a lot about these crop circles because the patterns are becoming more frequent, bigger and more complex and appear to defy all rational explanation.
